Pembina County Highway Department is currently seeking 

2 full time employees to perform the following duties:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment, such as excavator, semi-tractor trailer, grader, chip spreader, snowplow, trucks, loaders, brooms, etc.
• Repair roadway surfaces by blade and hand-patching, crack-sealing.
• Mow grounds, clean out culverts, and repair erosion damage.
• Remove snow and ice from roadways.
• Perform preventive maintenance service work, i.e. tire repairs, oil changes, cleaning and maintenance of work areas.

Qualifications Include:

• A valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license and a good driving record.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet for at least 8-10 hours at a time.
• Must be able to withstand exposure to hazardous working conditions and weather.
