NDSU Extension Service
Educational services are provided by the NDSU Extension Service in the areas of crop production, livestock management, natural resources and environmental management (including GPS/GIS), 4-H youth development, nutrition, food safety and health, farm and family economics and community, economic development and leadership. The NDSU Extension Service keeps people of Pembina County informed of the latest research and studies done in any of these areas and will conduct trainings in any of these areas as appropriate, often in partnership with schools, homemaker groups, agricultural and civic organizations. The agriculture agent also provides one-on-one consultation on the Farm Bill program for the Farm Service Agency and helps in making decisions on a farm’s base operations.
