The Pembina County Water Resource District is actively working with the National Guard and Pembina County Emergency Management to implement measures to stabilize Bourbanis Dam in eastern Cavalier County.  This is resulting in a road closure on ND Highway 5.  Residents that may be affected in the immediate downstream area have been notified of the situation.
