Pembina County Social Services in Cavalier, ND, has a Social Worker III job opening.  This is a Permanent, Full-Time, Regular, benefited position.  Salary Range:  $4,260 - $7,100 per month.  Closing date for applications:  April 26, 2017.

  • Foster Care Licensing, Recruitment, & Retention
  • Child Protection Services
  • Emergency Services must be provided to families determined to be at risk of harm to its members.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Social Worker III requires a bachelor’s degree in social work, a current ND Social Work License, and two (2) years of professional Social Work experience in a Human Service setting; OR a master’s degree in social work and a current ND Social Work License.

 

If no qualified Social Worker III applicants are found, we will consider underfilling as a Social Worker II (4212) with a minimum starting salary of $3,899 per month.  Requires a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a current ND Social Work License, and one (1) year of professional Social Work experience in a Human Service setting.

 

If no qualified Social Worker II applicants are found, we will consider underfilling as a Social Worker I (4211) with a starting salary of $3,586 per month.  Requires a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a current ND Social Work license.

 

If no qualified Social Worker I applicants are found, we will consider underfilling as a Social Worker Trainee (9240) with a starting salary of $3,586 per month.  Requires a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school and eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) as determined by the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners (NDCC Chapter 43-41) within 90 days of employment.

 

Preference will be given to those individuals with Child Welfare Certification.

 

Computer literacy required.  A valid North Dakota driver’s license is required.  Individuals may be required to work non-traditional hours.  Individuals applying for this position must be able to change and be creative exploring new methods of service delivery to clients.  The ability to visit persons in their own homes is required.
