GIS County Parcel Viewer
A Geographic Information System (GIS) parcel viewer that allows users to find properties by owner, house number, street name, parcel number or by browsing within the map and clicking on parcels of interest. Enter as a Guest to gain access to the GIS Parcel Viewer.
Features include “Quick Search” parcel tools, printable or downloadable PDF maps, and quick access to a Property Tax Portal, Google Street View, a Lat/Lon coordinate locator, and other tools. Bing Aerials display rapidly and enable you to see a parcel boundary overlaying a property image, and three separate years of aerial photos are also available. Many other GIS layers may be found in the “Map Layers” tab, such as School Districts, Commission Districts, and floodplain areas. Be sure to visit the “Help” section if using an interactive GIS map is new to you.

Interactive and Static Maps
The ND Hub Explorer is a browser-based interactive mapping tool that displays GIS Hub layers, grouped by data category. With this tool you can zoom, pan, query, print maps, and download vector data. The Hub Explorer has been tested on a number of browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and with limited testing on Opera and Safari. Please note that if you use Internet Explorer it is highly recommend that you use version 9 as there are performance and other issues with versions prior to 9.

ND State Geological Survey
The Geological Survey publishes maps and reports on the mineralogical, paleontological, and geochemical resources of North Dakota, including oil and gas, coal, uranium, clay, sand and gravel, volcanic ash, potash and other salts, etc. In addition to the mapping of subsurface resources, the Survey is actively mapping the surface geology throughout the state with an emphasis on urban areas.
