Interactive and Static Maps
The ND Hub Explorer is a browser-based interactive mapping tool that displays GIS Hub layers, grouped by data category. With this tool you can zoom, pan, query, print maps, and download vector data. The Hub Explorer has been tested on a number of browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and with limited testing on Opera and Safari. Please note that if you use Internet Explorer it is highly recommend that you use version 9 as there are performance and other issues with versions prior to 9.

ND State Geological Survey
The Geological Survey publishes maps and reports on the mineralogical, paleontological, and geochemical resources of North Dakota, including oil and gas, coal, uranium, clay, sand and gravel, volcanic ash, potash and other salts, etc. In addition to the mapping of subsurface resources, the Survey is actively mapping the surface geology throughout the state with an emphasis on urban areas.
