Pembina County Highway Department is currenty seeking a full-time Road Maintenance Technician II, to perform the following duties:
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment, such as excavator, semi-tractor trailer, grader, chip spreader, snowplow, trucks, loaders, brooms etc.
- Repair roadway surfaces by blade and hand-patching, crack-sealing.
- Mow grounds, clean out culverts, and repair erosion damage.
- Remove snow and ice from roadways.
- Perform preventative maintenance service work, i.e. tire repairs, oil changes, cleaning and maintenance of work areas.
Qualifications Include:
- A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license and a good driving record.
- A high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Must be able to be on your feet for at least 8-10 hours at a time.
- Must be able to withstand exposure to hazardous working conditions and weather.
