Emergency Services/911
The Pembina County Emergency Management office provides a countywide system for effective mitigation, preparation for, response to, and recovery from, manmade or natural disasters. The office prepares and maintains a county emergency operations plan which provides for:
• Alerting and informing the public
• Assessing the situation
• Activating volunteers
• Supporting emergency response and,
• Restoration and recovery
The office also coordinates with the North Dakota State Division of Emergency Management to provide emergency planning, training and program assistance to county disaster plan functional coordinators and local emergency responders.
Finally, the Emergency Management office collaborates with statewide Homeland Security initiatives for awareness, preparedness, prevention and response.
Pembina County 911
Pembina County 911 provides enhanced services to the citizens of Pembina county and cities therein, and those that travel through. These services involve the accurate collection, exchange and dissemination of information relating to emergencies and other vital public safety functions.
